Dear Fellow AYP Member,

Every year during the first week of March our YMCA compass points us towards Albany, New York and our annual AYP Conference. Last year we celebrated the 35th anniversary of this extraordinary gathering that combines opportunity, development and camaraderie deepening our commitment to the YMCA movement. This will be year 36 and our conference theme is "Charting the Course" I invite all of you to set sail for Albany on March 3, 4 and 5 where we will learn, grow and connect!

This year the opening keynote speaker is Bill Grace, founder for the Center of Ethical Leadership, and will talk about leaders as stewards of the common good. Martha Machnik and her program committee will provide all of us with an exceptional line-up of workshops, keynotes and the continuation Solution Circles! John Pries, Ralph Yohe, Mark Dengler, Mike Graves and Dianna Wiggins ares just some of the exciting presenters that will highlight Albany 2010!

As always, our valued Resource Partners, will be in Albany to share with all of us the latest in new products, services and trends. There is always plenty of time to connect with our dedicated partners in the movement in a setting conducive to education, discovery and neworking. Thursday night's reception with our Resource Partners is highlighted by your opportunity to win many great prizes.

The fun and fellowship committee is busy planning exciting adventures for all conference attendees. And an important part of Albany Conference experience and legacy is our efforts to support each other through EAF fund. You never know the way life goes and EAF is a great support system available to members at a moment's notice when least expected. Our raffle and auction on Thursday evening gives everyone an opportunity to win, while raising improtant funds at the same time. We ask that each of you bring a quality item for the raffle that will represent your YMCA at the conference.

So follow the compass to Albany, chart your course for the future and don't miss out on the contagious enthusiasm for our YMCA movement that has made the Albany Conference legendary for the past 35 years. See you there!
